LONDON - The ever growing public profile has made her a latent target for kidnappers. Yes, she is none other than Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, who has been under rigorous SAS training to defend any kind of kidnapping attempt.
Kate Middleton Gets Tough Training to Defy Possible Kidnapping Attempt |
The SAS training is thought to be ‘very tough, physically and mentally’ and is thought to learn vital endurance skills. Generally, the training is given by SAS, personal protection or MI5 officers.
Reportedly, Kate Middleton was provided the personal protection training near her Anglesey home, on the advice of royal officials.
Different reports imply that the Duchess of Cambridge would have trained how to respond in case of a possible kidnapping attempt, how to create a connection with kidnappers, how to drive under pressure, and also create and pass on coded messages.
One reliable source told that the royal family wanted to ensure Kate's new status wouldn't make her exposed to attack.
“She has been well trained in what to do should the unthinkable happen,” the source further said.
The Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William have all undergone the similar kind of training courses, often used by high-profile politicians and diplomats.
